This is me! I have 23 years of experience treating biomechanical and skeletal conditions and complaints. Osteopathic treatment is an intelligent, integrated manual therapy that works with the whole body, so I can meet you where you are, on any given day.
It is a hands-on form of physical therapy that may assist with pain management and rehabilitation by supporting optimal postural alignment and function. Osteopathic manipulative treatment is safe and effective for the whole family: from the youngest to the oldest, in pregnancy and post natal - even for your furry-family members!
OSTEOPATHY FOR ANIMALS - unfortunately I am am taking a break from treating dogs but I can direct you to another practitioner.
Treatment for dogs.
Pets are family: they deserve care, comfort and to be pain free! In 2019 I completed a two-year, Post Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine equipping me to treat dogs and horses - or any other pet - with manual therapy. The Diploma provides comprehensive tuition by Vets, Chiropractors and Osteopaths.
Dogs have my heart and have always been in my life - I have one of my own. They can't tell us when they're suffering, but if you notice stiffness, limping, awkward posture/gait, or they've been injured - Osteopathic treatment can be effective in conjunction with primary veterinary care.
Treatment Fees.
Please note from January 1st 2025 there is an increase in fees as follows.
Initial/Follow-up consultation: $135.00 (45 minutes).
Concession/Medicare Plans: $125.00 (45 minutes)
Origin Osteopathy is a private billing practice; rebates are available for private health and medicare care plans (no bulk billing available). Insurance and Workers' Comp Claims should be discussed with the Practitioner directly.
